An important method of online marketing is Search Engine Optimization (SEO) which is very useful for e-commerce websites. Known as the organic result, this appears on the left side of the results page. 60% of internet users who run searches on any search engine only look at the organic results; only 10% of these users check the next pages for more organic results. Based on these data it can be seen that the first page of the resulting query is the most important one.

For a website to appear at the top of the search results, many parameters need to be considered. Each search engine has its own robot which goes through the online pages, reading and ranking them. The algorithms of all of the search engine robots are not known. Each search engine, such as Google, Bing or Yahoo, has its own algorithms.

SEO companies have used experience and research to determine some critical issues which can help websites to appear at the top of the results.
